Javier Olivan serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Meta, overseeing the firm's business teams and the infrastructure and central products for its family of apps. Joining the company in 2007, when it was still known as Facebook, Olivan previously held the position of Chief Growth Officer. His career prior to Meta includes his role as a Product Manager at Siemens Mobile, where he led a team responsible for developing and launching handset devices.

Olivan holds an MBA from Stanford University and master’s degrees in both electrical and industrial engineering from the University of Navarra. He is also a board member of Endeavor, a nonprofit organization supporting the global entrepreneurial ecosystem. Olivan’s extensive experience and academic background contribute significantly to his leadership role at Meta.
