Melanie Huet, President of Brand Management and Innovation at Newell Brands, leads the company’s global initiatives in brand management, marketing operations, digital marketing, communication design, innovation, insights, and packaging. Huet is responsible for setting the overall brand vision and implementing new tools to enhance consumer engagement and drive conversion throughout the consumer journey. She works closely with segment leaders to foster profitable growth through groundbreaking innovation. Before joining Newell Brands, Huet played a pivotal role at Serta Simmons Bedding as the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer, where she shifted the company from a sales-led to a consumer-led model, later advancing to EVP and Chief Commercial Officer to lead enterprise revenue and transform the sales organization.

Huet has a proven track record of revitalizing iconic brands, with more than 25 years of experience as a commercial executive at prestigious companies including Kraft Heinz, Kimberly-Clark, and Unilever. She holds a bachelor’s degree in German and advertising from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from the University of Rochester. Additionally, Huet serves as an independent Board Director for Quad/Graphics, Inc., a global marketing experience company. Her extensive expertise and innovative approach continue to drive Newell Brands' commitment to excellence in consumer engagement and brand development.
